That reminds me. I should get DivX again, since my WMP won't play avi files...

DivX is made of adware and fail. You need ffdshow

Dunno about the second one.

ffdshow is direct show filter, for playing back movies of mpeg4, such as divx xvid and h264

No clue what you just said.

DivX is a mpeg4 codec, so is Xvid and h.264. The DivX codec you download from divx site is a piece of shit, but ffdshow is a filter used for playing back stuff encoded in mpeg4 codecs, nothing less nothing more.

Simple casette player terminology dammit!

What makes you think I know anything about casette players?

Poor Pid. He's doomed to a generation deprived of cassette players.
I have one cassette. Songs from the Wood by Jethro Tull. I haven't listened to it in forever because I've been too lazy to clean my cassette player so it doesn't sound like crap. |

I have a few cassettes too, I think cassettes are the best invention ever

Re: I don't feel like thinking of more random nonsense

I'm afraid to buy them, since I don't know if they'll work. I should maybe bring a mini-cassette player and test them out before purchase.

Re: I don't feel like thinking of more random nonsense

Why'd they not work though? Cassettes are pretty durable, and won't stop working too easy
I got a bunch of cassettes from 80s, work quite fine! |

The cases were broken and pretty much none of them had J-cards. I'm thinking that they were probably abused.

Re: I don't feel like thinking of more random nonsense

What was that, a trift store?
I suppose it'd be surprising to see them sold anywhere else, but you can buy empty recordable ones from like music shops.. Real useful if you got means of recording,, such as a tape deck and cables to connect it to computer. Stream your MP3s to a casette, brilliant! |

Re: I don't feel like thinking of more random nonsense

That would be nice, but the only tape deck I have doesn't connect to the computer and sounds like crap anyway because I'm too lazy to clean it.
