Not Houston, Norfolk area... you'd have to be pretty cocky to invade here.

Oh yes Norfolk, that was my first attempt and yes I was very cocky. It was a very bad decision to invade there, USA could somehow send troops to kick my arse out of there in matter of mere months so it took me half a year or more to stop being surrounded by hordes of angry USA divisions. Like hell was I going to just be reasonable and leave, besides I had a long time to construct powerful bunker installations there.. wouldn't want them to have those!

Sounds about right. This area is very heavily military, especially navy, and the Atlantic seaboard is by far the most populated area of the US. Houston, however, is in the middle of nowhere.

Re: asef | ||

Well the good part about Norfolk was that it was really close to their oil supplies, being Germany and all, I liek the black liquid, so I just gotta go over there, and ship it out! Would take months to get to their oil strorage if I went from a "better" place like Houston.
Germany is a pain in the arse for a supporter of armored fist such as myself. The oil! It runs out! |

Re: asef | ||

Weird, because we don't really have oil here. A lot of coal coming out of West Virginia, but no real oil.
Then again, I'm talking about real life. |

Well usually, the military resource depots are located around the capital city, capture it = capture the resources held there. And since USA is a large producer of oil, they always have a lot of surplus oil stored there to use for .. whatever they use it for!
It's not like.. produced there, just stored. It's produced much more south somewhere if I remember correctly. But it'd take months to get oil production back up when I occupied that! Better just capture the strorages and ship excess stuff out! |

We don't store our oil in Washington, mostly along the coast of the Gulf of Mexico, i.e. Texas and Louisiana.
