A - I don't like her that much, but not for many good reasons. I've talked to her a few times, and she's a nice enough person. But she is a little slutty (sorry, can't think of a nicer word), and she thinks she's really great. She wears a ton of make-up (which I think looks a little stupid). She does well at sports and gets honours at school. There's a few guys in my class that are always talking to her and bugging her and telling her she's sexy when the teacher's not around and things like that. I feel kinda bad for her. I would say she is generally an attractive female, but because of her overinflated ego and sluttiness I don't like her. The only thing I can think of that's nice about her is that is she is confident in herself.

Confidence is a good attribute. However, I don't like slutty girls either. I think that sluttiness, and a lot of make up, takes away from their prettiness. It's nice that you see confidence as an attractive quality, I think it is too. But over-inflated ego is not.
Personally I think your reasons for not liking her much seem ok to me. They are honest reasons ya know? Isn't it strange how a person can be kind of pretty, but the other stuff about them just takes away from their attractiveness?

B - She's a nice kid. I've talked to her a bit before, but usually because of my weird language she usually misunderstands me and leaves thinking I'm stupid. She thinks I'm kinda funny, too. Anytime I make some sort of a joke or be a little obnoxious she always tells me "oh haha that was really funny, Jim. Did you see what he did? You should've seen it! Oh haha", etc. She doesn't have any permanent male friends, and only likes the athletic guys (or so I've noticed). She is nothing really exciting to look at. She is definitely not ugly though. The thing I like about her is her eyes. They're really big and sorta light-brown. Just solid brown. I think she's pretty, but I haven't ever told her that. I don't find anything in her personality particularly attractive or unattractive. I would talk to her more but she is always around a bunch of girls, and it would seem weird for me to just suddenly want to talk to her. With Kelly she wanted to talk first, so me going to talk to her wasn't so weird. Well first off you called her "kid" and that is a big tip-off as to how you perceive her. Is your name Jim? You never said. Anyhow, moving along. The point is to find her realm of prettiness and I think you did it with her eyes and describing them. They sound very pretty. I personally like brown eyes, they have such rich depths to them. She does seem to have an agenda with the athletic guys. Btw, are you athletic? Do you play any sport well? Just curious. She also has a sense of humor. Seems to me that "nice" is the operative word here, especially when you say there is nothing attractive or unattractive about her personality.

Yes, my name is Jim. I thought that was in my profile, but I guess it isn't. Yeah, I dunno about "kid". How do you think I might perceive her because of that wording? I think I just see her as not very mature yet and just an average person.
I'm not athletic, but I guess I could do the Phys Ed stuff if I felt like it. I just don't participate very willingly. The only sports I'm good at (or at least have fun doing) are badminton, soccer, and floor hockey (I can't skate). Anyways, a lot of kids at school that I know are wearing contacts instead of glasses lately, and she stopped wearing her glasses, too. I didn't think much of it originally other than that she just looked different, but now I think she looks a whole lot nicer. You can see her eyes better. I thought I might tell her that, but whatever. It'd just be weird. It's not like I've ever shown any interest in her before. Btw, she's the girl I liked last year. Yeah, I think you see her as a kid in a way. When you call someone kid it's because you think you are older than them in some way, be it years or experience. But that is ok, she is growing up and you probably see this in her clear enough to say she's a nice kid.
I am not a big sports person myself. Bleh, I hated PE. Awww you should have grabbed the chance to say hey those contacts look good, I bet she would have liked that. Anyhow it does not matter now. Ok, next one tomorrow.

Yech. I had a dream with B ^up there last night in it. Sheesh I get stuck on people. It's not like there's a way I can control what I dream about, I guess. (is there?)
Anyways, I was just going to say, one of the first judgements of someone I made when I came to this new school last year was when I saw that girl. (B) I thought she looked kinda nice when I first saw her, and she was one of the first people I talked to.  C - I don't like what she looks like or her personality. Sorry to say this but she is kinda ugly. She and her friends have been rude to me before, and she is a little stuck-up. She likes showing off her superior knowledge to everyone. I can't think of anything nice that's physical about her. She's overweight, and her face is a little, well, weird looking. I can't describe it. And she wears so much eye liner I can't see her eyes (I've never been that close to her anyways.) She laughs a lot, so she might have a sense of humour...? (Yeah right.) There is something that I cannot stress enough and it is this: It is very hard to find the prettiness in a plain girl when her personality is unattractive. If she is rude, stuck up, showing off then the personality is not good and there is not much inner beauty to shine forth. Which is what we are looking for, both inner beauty and some special sparkle. So for C, perhaps she is one of those that you have to reassess in a year and see if she has changed or bloomed.
On the other hand, there is fear, and as we all know fear makes you ugly (and leads to the dark side  ). This girl could be afraid. Fear can make you rude and stuck up. Being overweight can (not always) but it can make you afraid. Afraid of what people will think, of not fitting in, of being ugly, of never getting a bf, etc. So this inner unspoken and probably unacknowledged fear could be making C act like she does. Maybe. Again, humans are complex and behavior is rarely simple and instead derives from a variety of factors. However, although we are not mind readers, we can make an educated guess. Maybe you can guess better than me since you actually know her and I am merely going on the paragraph you wrote here. Additionally, she probably lacks true confidence. So taking all this into account, I don't blame you if you cannot find anything pretty about her and we will excuse you for this one.

Also, it works the other way, too. Like if you know someone with a really great personality it makes them all the more attractive. Like Kelly, I didn't ever find her physically attractive before I knew her better. (Of course, now with the way she's treating me, she's getting uglier.)
A lot of girls are rude to me or have a weird attitude towards me because they think I'm weird. I'm a lot different than most people, so they might not be comfortable with difference. D - I don't know her that well. All of her friends are girls. I've talked to her before, and she has acted in lots of different ways towards me (like making a stab at conversation or just making some stupid face and then ignoring me). She is overweight and kinda short. If I had to choose something nice about her, I guess it'd be her eyes (again). They are kinda hard to see with the make-up on, but from what I can tell they are a really pale blue. Almost grey. I don't know how attractive they are, but they're at least interesting. When I say overweight I mean just with more fat than usual. I know females are supposed to have more fat on their bodies than males, but even considering that they're still more overweight than most people. I guess it's a matter of opinion, but I'm not being harsh or anything.
They're the only overweight girls in my class, and there are only two overweight guys in my class. E is nice and has a good figure. That is good. But is she ugly to you? What color is her hair and eyes? Does she have a nice mouth? Good teeth? zits (all 14 year olds have zits though pretty much and I really don't want to hear about zits). Does she wear too much makeup?
You need to answer those questions. Should I give you a check list? Well, I tell ya what, after you do your initial impression of each girl, we will go back to the nice ones and delve into them with more detail. I remember once sitting at an outdoor cafe with my friend who is a guy and we were eating ice creams and it was a very warm summer evening. So we watched the girls go by (he wanted a gf, lol) and we rated them as they walked by. We were not doing it to be mean, but we were just having fun and somehow this with you reminds me of that evening at the cafe!

Heh, that's kinda funny. Did you both have about the same opinions of them? F - She's good to talk to, like conversation-wise. She usually only says something if she needs to and sometimes not even then. She's pretty quiet, and I usually have to ask her what she said a few times. There aren't any outstanding personality flaws that I can see in her. Her hair is really long and blonde, and her eyes are really dark brown. She's kinda short and thin and she wears glasses, and her nose is a little big. The attractive thing about her is her hair, I think. EDIT: Oh, I was gonna ask, do you want me to do another class after this? It's just the only girl left in this one is Kelly and I accidentally chose a class with only seven girls in it (out of twenty some kids). Hmmm...well this is not enough girls. So choose another class and keep going down the alphabet.
So F's hair is long and pretty, that is a nice thing. And there are some things that are promising about her personality. Maybe she is one that needs a bit more time simmering on the stove though. You know, just to thicken the gravy.  Anyhow, remember, anyone can get a nose job.
