GODDAMN IT.
a news station is counting. 43 days continuously of rain. we had ONE day of sunshine. which was yesterday. and then i was smoking on the balcony at midnight. i saw lightening. but no thunder. i was like fucking shit! i was stuck in a one hour traffic coming down the pali highway this afternoon from my friends house caz of a mudslide. half the island is flooded out. MILLIONS of sewage poured into ALL major beaches. when i have the time & money, im gonna see if i can take my car in service two months early to check on it, even if im two grand miles from actual required service but i love to drive so it adds up.
in the past two weeks, i have heard more sirens from my apartment than ive heard more helicopters & jets from my parents house in a month (i used to live right outside base).
