The idea is to write two different poems/phrases (or if, you're brave write two different lines of the poem in the form) by using a system of rows and colums, sort of like Matrix algebra, really.
It's rather a mind bending exercise really. The idea is to write a phrase/poem that is intelligable by reading the rows and by reading the colums. Sort of like below in my bad example.
Light through the key holes
found sound love meaning under
it's soul here in my
way peace breaks open space.
-Henry David Thoreau
Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.
-Ralph Waldo Emerson
