General theme tips:
Firstly for the sake of laziness I use the same filenames and just upload the new files, this can cause your browser to display older images from cache, if you are seeing old images or images that do not appear to match the theme try a hard refresh (usually SHIFT + REFRESH) to force the page to be fully refreshed, if that doesn't work try clearing your cache.
