we have new people stopping by, and older peeps who have been here for a while who dont know the new ones. lets introduce ourselves (if you want to) so ppl can refer to this thread and know what to call each other and a bit about each other. the info you give is up to you. dont post if you dont want to. (obviously, haha).

call me Uma, i post under the username umaeril (duh!) and Horn and Ivory. Umaeril is just a glamorization of Uma, i thought it was a little more elven or something. i live in Nashville, TN. i have graduated college and have a BA in biology with an organic chemistry minor. i am doing advanced school/training/work in neuroscience. o_O i co-own the board with Lunaris.

I'm Indicaspice. Most people call me spice. They call me other names but we won't delve into that. Any hoo, I live in Alberta, Canada with my American husband of 3 years. We live in a house built in 1912 and inhabited by a friendly ghost. We're empty nesters except for our two cats.

I am a library technician employed with the public school board. In my spare time I like to read, chat, dabble in computer graphics, play golf(computer) and a few other games. I have my own board too, and I post at several others faithfully.

I live in Pennsylvania, I love getting drunk & having bon fires!!!! I like to cook & clean......yeah yeah yeah......I know B-O-R-I-N-G!!!!!!!!! I have a grand daughter that is just a few weeks old. I hate the summer & the heat it brings so I am not posting too much right now because of it. I am too miserable to play!

I love the hard rock & early headbangers music.

I work in a textile factory close to home & I am counting the days down till I leave for my camping trip in the woods!!!!!!!

Well... my name is Peter... obviously... I turned 18 not too long ago (June 18th) and I graduated from my high school in May.

I live in Jacksonville, North Carolina (where it's funny to hear a redneck say the word "beer".) and I plan on attending college this winter. I'm going to attend my community college and then possibly a transfer to either Michigan State, UNC-Wilmington, or NC State.

I enjoy video games, namely RPG's and Adventure/Survival Horrors. I'm currently working on Final Fantasy VII and it hates me very much.

I also enjoy music. I usually listen to Punk (not the poppy crap), Emo, Hard Rock, Metal, Heavy Metal, Gothic Metal, Industrial Rock, Old School Rap (stuff like Run DMC, Onyx, NWA, and Naughty By Nature because the old school stuff is better), Video game music and anime opening and closing themes (Japanese only). Some of my favorite bands are From Autumn To Ashes, Anti-Flag, Glassjaw, Chimaira, Killswitch Engage, Thrice, Pennywise, and too many others.

Sports is another thing I enjoy. Baseball is my favorite sport, followed by Soccer (or Football in England).

I also like anime. Rurouni Kenshin is my favorite one. (I've been watching it since 2000) followed by InuYasha (Been watching it since 2001), and then in no order, Love Hina, Cowboy Bebop, Akira, Trigun, and YuYu Hakusho.

That's it... I think... oh yea... and I also wear Vans. (I was bored so I decided to add my shoes.

)

H'lo. Names Michael. Seeing as there are multiples of us you can refer to me in whatever manner is least confusing. Michael the lesser, lil' mike, just no mikies please.

Basic data about me that reveals probably very little...hm.

I'm 26 (well not officially until the 17th) i live in Little Rock, AR. I have precisely 1.5 cats and books that grow exponentially by the hour. I tend to prefer the lights to be dimmed (and seeing as how i read alot you can probably guess that i am doomed to poor eyesight somewhere down the road). I have a BA in Medical Technology ( easier to say i work in a lab) and am currently pursuing a Masters.

My tastes aren't very advanced musically. I tend to like whatever poppy crap is popular at the moment. Metal and heavy guitars tend to give me a headache and the angst and rage of millionares doesn't move me a whole hell of alot. I also like alot of older jazz, and who can't dig the blues (cause some days you were jsut born to looose....)? err...my friends call me Taco (don't ask) and that's about it i guess.

How often have I lain beneath rain on a strange roof,thinking of home.
